Daily NBA Player Props – April 18th

Nikola Jokic – Over 9.5 Assists (-107)

If you ignore the season finale – which Jokic was clearly just trying to get minutes in – he’d be on a run of hitting this number of assists. He’s had double figures in four straight games and in eight of his last nine. He averaged 13.1 dimes per game over that period of time. Now he gets the Timberwolves, who have an elite big man defender on the inside in Rudy Gobert. That’s going to force Jokic to dish the ball out more than usual. We saw that during the regular season as he went 3-1 on this prop against Minnesota with a 11.3 average.

OG Anunoby – Over 2.5 Three-Pointers (+120)

After hitting the Goodwin three-point prop on Friday, I like Anunoby to keep our luck going in that realm. He’s been sharp from beyond the arc to close out the season. Apart from the finale, which he only played 15 minutes, he’s hit at least three in every game in April. In fact, he’s hit at four or more in three of the four games this month and is averaging 4.5 per game in those four games. The Hawks are a middle of the pack team in terms of defending the three, so Anunoby should get his attempts.

Jabari Smith Jr – Over 14.5 Points (-102)

Smith closed the season with hitting this prop in five straight games. He was also 9-1 against this number in his last ten games on the season. In three games against the Lakers this year, he was a perfect 3-0 at scoring at least 15 points and averaged 18.7. With Kevin Druant questionable, there is a chance they need to lean on some other names to pick up the slack as well.
