Daily NBA Player Props – April 15th
Kawhi Leonard – Over 29.5 Points (-115)
This is one of those picks that the numbers don’t really support, but it feels like it has to hit. He has not been putting up his big numbers down the stretch, but the Clippers have been resting him a lot more. Additionally, the Warriors are not a team that struggles on defense – they’re middle of the pack in most metrics. However, Leonard has a history of taking over and getting the volume he needs in big games. We should see that again on Wednesday.
Kristaps Porzingis – Over 6.5 Rebounds (-104)
Porzingis has been getting back into the swing of things in the month of April. In the four games he’s played, he’s logging near 25 minutes in all of them and the rebounds have been coming. He’s hit this mark in each of those four games. Now we can expect a little more burn in a high stakes game. Plus, the Clippers do rank 19th in rebounding percentage, so there should be ample opportunities for him.
Jalen Suggs – Over 2.5 Three-Pointers (+156)
I don’t expect Suggs to go for seven three-pointers like he did in the season finale, but he has been on fire lately. He’s cashed this prop in three straight and in five of his last six games. That trend is good enough when looking at a big plus-number like this. However, it gets better when you consider the opponent. The 76ers are a below average team when it comes to preventing the shot beyond the arc.
