Arizona Diamondbacks vs New York Mets

The Arizona Diamondbacks and the New York Mets wrap up their three-game series tomorrow night in Queens, with the Mets winning Game 1 (4-3) and the D-Backs leading Game 2 as these words are being typed.
The Mets are out of the gates with a strong start, going 7-4 and being ranked seventh in the majors in terms of advanced stats. Not spectacular, but solid. And New York has been strong at Citi Field, winning three of their first four in front of their home fans, while Arizona has yet to win on the road.
While Diamondbacks starter Eduardo Rodriguez, who takes the mound tomorrow, has yet to allow a run this year, I expect him to revert to the mean soon – he’s been brutal for a long while. Look for the Mets’ strong offense to get to him tomorrow, and for the home side to wrap up the series with a W.
