2026 NCAA Tournament: Final Four Pick, Arizona vs. Michigan Preview & Prediction

We are down to the last four teams in the NCAA Tournament. And boy, do we have a game this weekend between Arizona and Michigan. This might be one of the best games of all-time. So many storylines, great matchups going into this Final Four showdown. Let’s get into it and give you my Final Four prediction between Arizona vs. Michigan.

This battle between two number 1 seeds goes down this Saturday night at 8:49pm ET. Lucas Oil Stadium is where the Final Four goes down as well as the National Championship Monday night.

No. 1 Michigan vs. No. 1 Arizona 8:49 PM

If this game is as close as the odds indicate, we are in for a treat. Truthfully, both of these teams have coasted their way to the Final Four. Michigan’s four wins in the NCAA Tournament have been by 21, 23, 13, and 33. Arizona’s four wins have been by 34, 12, 21, and 15.

There’s not a lot of weaknesses on either side. Both teams have played a top 10 schedule this year. Michigan and Arizona are both in top 5 in adjusted offensive efficiency and defensive efficiency.

Both teams can shoot the three and are effective from the field. Michigan excels on defense and ranks in the top five in 2 point % defense and Block%. But the Wolverines will have their work cut out since the Wildcats are elite. Arizona was 32-of-50 (64%) on 2s against Arkansas and 22-of-43 (51.2%) against Purdue.

There are two teams better than Michigan at defending 2-point shots and Arizona is one of them. The Wildcats are second in the country in eFG% defense. I think it’s also important to note that this game will be played in a football stadium, so there might be some depth perceptions for the shooters. Maybe that will help the Wildcats with their lower rate of three pointers. I think Arizona is the better overall team and honestly, I think they should be the favorite in this game.

Pick: Arizona ML +105
