I’m going the simple route again tomorrow in concocting my parlay – I’m taking the two hottest scorers in the league currently. One of them skates for the Boston Bruins.
It’s a bit of a surprise that Pavel Zacha is on such a heater, netting nine goals over his past 10 games. After never scoring more than 21 goals in a season, Zacha has broken out this year, tallying 28 goals thus far and leading the league in shooting percentage.
Montreal Canadiens vs Tampa Bay Lightning
Start Time: 7:00 PM EST
It’s not a surprise that the Montreal Canadiens Cole Caufield is getting the job done this season – he’s steadily progressed each year in the league, increasing his goal totals in all six seasons to this year’s peak of 46 (and counting).
With nine goals in his last 10, and six in his past five, CC is making a late push for the Richard Trophy as the league’s top scorer – he’s moved within two of leader Nathan MacKinnon.
