Daily NBA Player Props – March 23rd
Donovan Clingan – Over 29.5 Points + Rebounds (+110)
If it’s not broke, don’t fix it. Clingan crushed his projection of 25.5 in this category on Sunday when he put up 18-13 against the Nuggets. He’ll look to repeat those numbers when he faces the woeful Brooklyn Nets. Even without factoring in how bad the Nets are, the line still looks easy for Clingan. He’s hit this mark in three straight while averaging 22.3 points per game and 12.7 rebounds. Just keeping at his recent average would make this child’s play.
Nickeil Alexander-Walker – Over 19.5 Points (-120)
Alexander-Walker came up short of this mark in his last game. However, that was just the first time in five games where he had failed to meet the 20 point mark. In that span, he’s putting up 24.2 points per game. A lot of that volume comes off the shot from beyond the arc and he’ll get a Memphis team that struggles in those regards. They rank 26th in the league in three-pointers surrendered. Look for Alexander-Walker to take advantage and put up a number.
Jalen Duren – Over 21.5 Points (-125)
When Cade Cunningham when down with a collapsed lung, it opened the door for Duren to be the guy to score. In the three games without the Pistons’ star, Duren has scored 27.7 points per game and has hit the over in every single one of them. The Lakers are an average team on defense, but I have not been blown away by what they are doing in the post. Duren should find the opportunities he needs to keep the streak alive.
