Best Bet For Tuesday (March 24th): NHL Predictions
San Jose Sharks vs Nashville Predators
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
For all intents and purposes, this season has been a smashing success for the San Jose Sharks. Their 70 points (with 14 games left to be played) is the team’s highest total since 2021/22, and they are already right at the 70.5 point over/under they were projected at heading into the year.
But that still doesn’t mean that the Sharks are a good hockey team. Below average on offense (18th in the league), they are abysmal on defense, allowing the fourth-most goals against in the league this season. They are also one of the NHL’s worst road teams, where they find themselves tomorrow as they meet the Predators in Nashville.
The Predators themselves aren’t that great a team, with a defense almost as bad as San Jose’s, and an offense on the same level as the Sharks. However, Nashville has won four straight games, while San Jose has dropped their last four, and the Predators are playing at home tomorrow.
Nashville on the moneyline is my best bet for Tuesday.
