Anaheim Ducks vs Montreal Canadiens
Start Time: 7:00 PM EST
Despite sitting atop the NHL’s Pacific Division, the Anaheim Ducks are not without their flaws. First, surprisingly, the Pacific is the league’s weakest division this season – the Ducks would be a middle-of-the-pack team in any of the league’s three other divisions.
Perhaps most alarming for Anaheim heading into their matchup with the Montreal Canadiens tomorrow night north of the border is their road record. While the Ducks are one of the NHL’s top teams on their home ice, they are the opposite on the road, posting a 14-17-2 away record, which is the sixth-worst mark in the league.
Anaheim also has a porous defense and goaltending, another category they rank near the bottom of the league – they are 29th out of 32 teams in goals allowed. That’s not good news when going up against a high-powered offense like the Habs’, who score the fourth-most goals in the NHL.
This should all add up to a win on their home ice for Montreal, and a nice score on the moneyline for us.
