Brooklyn Nets vs Philadelphia 76ers
Start Time – 1:00 PM EST
As I’ve said before, you’ve got to tread lightly when betting on tanking teams such as the Brooklyn Nets, but I have had luck taking tankers on the spread. They can still lose the game, but make sure to cover.
And I think the Nets can do just that tomorrow against the seriously banged-up Philadelphia 76ers. My line is Philadelphia -4.5, so the Nets plus the points is the play. Gulp.
Best Bet: Brooklyn +9.5 (-110)
Denver Nuggets vs Los Angeles Lakers
Start Time – 8:30 PM EST
You have to be flexible when it comes to gambling – you can’t get yourself tied down to any set rules. So, while I normally fade the Los Angeles Lakers, the spread came out in their favor tomorrow.
Which, I guess, isn’t too surprising since the Denver Nuggets are in town. However, the Nuggets will still be without Peyton Watson, and Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon are both entering the game with nagging injuries. My line is Los Angeles -0.5, so the Lakers as a home dog is my play.
Best Bet: Los Angeles +2.5 (-110)
