New Orleans Pelicans vs Houston Rockets
Start Time – 8:00 PM EST
The New Orleans Pelicans have won back-to-back games and three of their last four – maybe they don’t suck after all. Nah, they still suck, especially on the road, where they are 9-24, which is surprisingly only the seventh worst road record in the league this season. The tanking is real.
The Houston Rockets are an inconsistent team and probably will be without Alperen Sengun, but they had better be able to handle the Pelicans at home. Not only win, but cover. My line is Houston -11.5, so the Rockets are the play.
Best Bet: Houston -6.5 (-115)
Minnesota Timberwolves vs Golden State Warriors
Start Time – 10:00 PM EST
Two slumping Western Conference teams hook up tomorrow night in The Bay, as the Golden State Warriors host the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Warriors have dropped three straight and five of six; the Wolves have lost three straight.
Golden State is still without Stephen Curry until further notice, but even after taking that into my calculations, the Warriors remain my pick. My line is Minnesota -1, so the Warriors plus the points, it is.
Best Bet: Golden State +6.5 (-110)
