Best Bet For Friday (March 13th): NHL Predictions
Edmonton Oilers vs St. Louis Blues
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
There are only two games on the NHL schedule tomorrow, but luckily, both of them have playable moneylines. And, even more fortuitous for us, one of the teams involved is the St. Louis Blues.
The Blues are not good at hockey, which is a bad thing to not be good at when you’re an NHL team. The advanced stats have them almost a goal per game worse than an ‘average team’ and rank them as the second-worst team in the league. Ranking 28th in goals for and 26th in goals against, St. Louis is all-around crummy.
To make matters worse, the Blues are the fifth-worst home team, and their best player, Robert Thomas, is playing hurt. While the Edmonton Oilers are having a disappointing season based on their lofty standards and goals, they are still levels better than the Blues.
Edmonton, on a very generous moneyline, is my best bet for Friday.
