Daily NBA Player Props – March 12th
Desmond Bane – Over 31.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-121)
Bane has been on fire for the Magic as of late. In the last three games, he’s cracked 30 using just points alone – making this projection almost laughable. We’ve also seen a huge uptick in rebounds for the TCU-product. He’s pulled down 15 board over the last two game (7.5 per game) after averaging only 4.2 on the season. He’ll get a chance to face the porous defense of the Wizards, who are giving up 136.7 points per game over the last three.
Cade Cunningham – Over 10.5 Assists (+107)
Cunningham has really taken to dishing the rock as of late. Over the last 11 games, he’s 7-4 against this prop and has hit double figures in nine of those games. This month, he’s averaged 11.4 dimes per game and is coming off of 15 against lowly Brooklyn. While the 76ers are a much better team, their defense actually is allowing more points per game than the Nets. This should give Cunningham all the chances to rack them up again.
Daniel Gafford – Over 10.5 Points (+101)
It shocks me to see Gafford consistently undervalued on the points projections. He’s now hit the over in three straight games and has double-doubles in all of those. In that time, he’s averaging 15.7 points per game. He gets Memphis in this one, who not only has a depleted frontcourt, but has been awful on defense. They rank 24th in the league in points against and have allowed 129.3 per game over their last three.
