Best Bet For Sunday (March 8th): NHL Predictions
Minnesota Wild vs Colorado Avalanche
Start Time: 2:00 PM EST
The Colorado Avalanche, despite their dominance this season, haven’t appeared in my daily best bets very frequently. There’s a reason for that – because they are so dominant, we don’t normally get playable moneylines for them. But tomorrow is different.
The line is still a little chalkier than I normally prefer, but it’s the best spot in the NHL tomorrow, in my opinion. The Avalanche playing at home is almost a sure thing, as they have an NHL-best 22-4-4 home mark. Leading the league in goals for and goals against, Colorado is in a class by itself.
But the Minnesota Wild are a strong club, especially on the road, and have beaten the Avalanche in two of their three meetings this season. They’ve also beaten the Avalanche in Colorado once this season. But I’m not counting on lightning striking twice tomorrow.
The Avalanche on the moneyline is my best bet for Sunday.
