MMA Same Game Parlay of the Week: UFC 326
UFC 326 Lightweight Fight: Max Holloway vs Charles Oliveira
Start Time: 5:00pm EST (Paramount+)
The dynamic of this fight, as well as what is at stake, should create plenty of violence here. Max Holloway and Charles Oliveira are not only trying to make statements, but trying to do so with a show. That should create a big stack up of stats and a great spot for a same game parlay.
The first leg I like in this same game parlay is the significant strikes for Max Holloway. On average, Holloway lands 7.2 strikes per minute – and it could be higher in this fight. At that rate, he’s looking at 180 over a 25-minute fight. It would also take less than three rounds at that rate to get up to that number. With Oliveira likely to be a willing partner, particularly early on, the 100 mark should come easily.
On the other side of the fight, I do expect Oliveira to look to bring it to the ground at some point. It may be due to trying to keep Holloway guessing or even because he’s getting fed up with getting hit constantly. Either way, we can boost this number heavily by just adding one takedown to the mix.
Mix the striking and the grappling together, and we wind up with a solid return.
