Arnold Palmer Invitational Picks: Rory, Åberg, Straka and My Bay Hill Betting Card | Stephie Smalls Show 3.3.26

If the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill teaches us anything every year, it’s this: this golf course is rude. Beautiful, iconic, but absolutely rude.

So I brought in someone who understands the chaos — Kenny Kim from Fantasy Golf Degenerates — to help break down the PGA Tour betting board for one of the toughest stops on the schedule.

Bay Hill demands elite ball striking, long approach shots (200+ yards), and strong par-4 scoring. Basically, if your irons are even slightly off, the golf course politely escorts you straight to the water.

On the outright market, we talked through some serious contenders. Rory McIlroy makes a lot of sense here given his history and the way his game lines up with Bay Hill. We also like upside plays like Sepp Straka and Ludvig Åberg, two guys who profile really well statistically for this course.

Then there’s Nicolai Højgaard, who might not be on everyone’s radar yet but absolutely has the skill set to compete in a tough field like this.

For placement bets, we’re looking at Jake Knapp Top 20, plus Matt Fitzpatrick and Jordan Spieth in the Top-20 market as well.

Between PGA Tour outrights, placement bets, and DFS strategy, we covered a lot. And honestly, if Bay Hill behaves the way it usually does… surviving the weekend might be the best bet of all.
