All Selections: 170-155-5
Perfect 3-0 Cards: 17-93

Stony Brook at Monmouth

Start Time: 7:00 PM EST

Stony Brook enters this game with a 17-11 overall record and a 4-7 road mark. The Sea Wolves are 17-9 overall against the spread and 6-5 ATS on the road.

Monmouth comes into this matchup with a 14-14 overall record and an 8-4 mark at home. The Hawks are 13-14 overall ATS and 4-7 ATS at home.

Monmouth has won five out of eight games head-to-head in this series. The Hawks have also covered in six out of the last eight games played against Stony Brook. Monmouth won and covered as a 1.5-point underdog at Stony Brook in early February.

Stony Brook is coming in hot to this matchup. The Sea Wolves have won and covered in eight of their last 10 games played. They’ve won and covered in three of their last four road games.

Monmouth has won six of their last 10, but only covered four times over that stretch. The Hawks are off back-to-back road losses.

Monmouth gets to play this matchup on their home floor, but Stony Brook has the better shooting team, and the defensive metrics prefer Stony Brook. The Sea Wolves also lost at home against Monmouth this month, so we get a revenge angle. Stony Brook is currently in fourth place in the CAA, and the first four teams in the standings get a first-round bye. Monmouth is currently sixth with Drexel ahead of them.

The Sea Wolves got clipped as a favorite at home, and now it’s time to return the favor. Stony Brook has been solid ATS in general and solid ATS on the road. They also come in as the hotter team. Let’s lock up these Sea Wolves to keep this within 4.5 points.

Best Bet: Stony Brook +4.5

Missouri State at Louisiana Tech

Start Time: 7:30 PM EST

Missouri State comes into this game with a 13-14 overall record and a 3-8 mark on the road. The Bears are 13-11 overall ATS and 7-4 ATS on the road.

Louisiana Tech enters this matchup with a 15-12 overall record and a 13-2 home mark. The Bulldogs are 13-11 overall ATS and 8-4 ATS at home.

In January, Missouri State won its first head-to-head game against Louisiana Tech in over 15 years by one point in overtime. The Bulldogs managed to cover as a 4.5-point road underdog.

Missouri State is on a five-game losing streak, and they’ve dropped three of their last five road games.

Louisiana Tech is 5-5 in their last 10 games played, but they’re 7-3 ATS. The Bulldogs are 3-1 outright and ATS in their last four home games.

Louisiana Tech is nasty on defense this year. The Bulldogs are 60th in the nation in effective shooting percentage against and 49th in the nation in shooting efficiency against. Good looks at the rim will be hard to come by for Missouri State. Louisiana Tech struggles on the offensive end, but they broke 70 points against Missouri State in the first game, and they get to play on their floor. The Bulldogs also have the better rebounding team, and they’re better at generating turnovers. Let’s lock up Louisiana Tech to win and cover at home.

Best Bet: Louisiana Tech -2.5

Abilene Christian at Utah Tech

Start Time: 9:00 PM EST

Abilene Christian enters this game with a 13-14 overall record and a 3-9 mark on the road. The Wildcats are 11-13 overall ATS and 6-6 ATS on the road.

Utah Tech comes into this matchup with a 17-12 overall record and a 10-2 mark at home. The Trailblazers are 16-10 overall ATS and 7-2 ATS at home.

Abilene Christian has won outright and covered in seven of the last nine games in this series. However, Utah Tech has won two in a row and covered both games as a 3.5-point underdog.

Abilene Christian has lost four straight road games, but they’re 2-2 ATS over that stretch. The Wildcats are 3-7 overall and 4-6 ATS in their last 10 games played.

Utah Tech has won and covered in eight of its last 10 games. The Trailblazers have won and covered in five straight at home.

Utah Tech is better offensively than Abilene Christian in just about every offensive metric you can find. Abilene Christian plays at a slow pace, but they’re a really poor shooting team. The Wildcats do stay in front of their opponents on defense, but this game is on Utah Tech’s floor, and the Trailblazers are a wagon at home. Abilene Christian also plays a bit loose with the ball, but they can take the ball away.

It’s hard to see how the Wildcats score enough to stay with Utah Tech on the road. Let’s lock up Utah Tech at home and lay the three points.

Best Bet: Utah Tech -3
