Detroit Red Wings vs Ottawa Senators
Start Time: 7:00 PM EST
We’ve got some Atlantic Division action going down tomorrow in the Ottawa suburbs of Kanata, as the Ottawa Senators welcome the Detroit Red Wings to their barn. While the Wings are nine points ahead of the Senators in the standings, these are two teams headed in opposite directions.
Heading into the Olympic break, Detroit had dropped four of its last five games, while Ottawa won five of its past six. The Senators have also won three straight at home. Assuming gold medalists Brady Tkachuk and Jake Sanderson aren’t burned out from their time in Italy, and the Senators didn’t lose their momentum during the layoff, I expect Ottawa to get the job done at home tomorrow night against the Red Wings.
Ottawa, on a very playable moneyline, is my best bet for Thursday.
