Daily NBA Player Props – February 25th
Alperen Sengun – Under 36.5 Points + Rebounds + Assist (-108)
While I like Sengun, especially with a matchup against the tanking Kings, he has been well short of this projection for some time. A lot of the reason is his significant dropoff in terms of scoring. Although he is averaging 20.3 points per game, he has topped 20 points just once in his last eight games. In that game he didn’t even beat this projection thanks to having just five assists. Overall, he’s 1-7 against this projection in his last few. Consider that he might get an early shower due to a big lead, and Sengun is a lock to hit the under.
Isaiah Joe – Over 14.5 Points (-110)
The injury bug has bit the Thunder, with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams out for Wednesday’s contest. This will mark the fourth straight game with both men missing. The biggest beneficiary of those absences has been Isaiah Joe. In those four contest, he has averaged 18.0 points per game and is 3-1 against this projection. Detroit has been a solid defense, but they have allowed 111.7 per game over their last three, which should open the door for Joe to get back here.
Moses Moody – Over 3.5 Three-Pointers (+121)
We hit on this one on Tuesday and we’re going to ride it into Wednesday. Moody has now ripped into the over on his three-pointers in two straight games with the attempts constantly increasing for the last couple weeks. Steph Curry remains out for the Warriors and it looks like De’Anthony Melton will miss this one too. Melton took nine three-pointers yesterday before taking a rest for this one, so Moody should lead the way from deep.
