Winnipeg Jets vs Vancouver Canucks
Start Time: 10:00 PM EST
Two of the worst defenses in the league are in action tomorrow night, so we’re going to target them. The team allowing the most goals in the NHL this season is the Vancouver Canucks, so I’m including a Winnipeg Jet in my parlay.
And if you’re going to include a Jet, Mark Scheifele would be the one. The man from my hometown is having another stellar year in Winnipeg, with 27 goals in 56 games, putting him on pace for the second 40+ goal season of his career.
Edmonton Oilers vs Anaheim Ducks
Start Time: 10:30 PM EST
The Anaheim Ducks also have porous defense and goaltending, and that’s bad news for them tomorrow night, as the high-scoring Edmonton Oilers are in town.
Assuming he’s not suffering from a post-Olympic letdown, Connor McDavid has to be our play here. He played out of his mind in Italy, winning the tournament MVP, and has lived up to his promise to score more in the NHL this season. With 34 goals in 58 games, McDavid has already topped his goal totals from the past three seasons.
