The UFC octagon is on the move again this week, heading from Houston, Texas, to Mexico City, Mexico, for Saturday’s UFC Fight Night: Moreno vs Kavanagh (aka UFC Mexico City). For my MMA Underdog Pick of the Week: UFC Mexico City, I’m going in on a huge dog on the main card. Let’s get it on, c’mon!

UFC Fight Night: Moreno vs Kavanagh (aka UFC Mexico City)

This week’s UFC Fight Night looks like a pretty chalky card on paper, so we’ve got to dig a bit to find an underdog play. My digging has brought me a +450 live one – King Green.
There’s no reason King (nee Bobby) Green should beat Daniel Zellhuber. Zellhuber is way, way bigger, and way, way younger. And Green has surely already seen his best days. However, Zellhuber just lost to a grizzled veteran he should have beaten in his last fight, Michael Johnson, part of a three-fight skid for him. And Green just outsmarted and outwitted a young fighter in his last fight.
Green is worth a roll of the dice at this number.
