Daily NBA Player Props – February 24th

Kon Knueppel – Over 3.5 Three-Pointers (+104)

If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it.

Kon Knueppel’s over on his three-pointers has been absolute money this month. He’s had at least four in 75% of games played in February, which includes five of his last six games. Some of that is due to the increase we’ve seen in attempts from downtown out of him. After averaging 6.4 three-point attempts in the month of January, he’s taken 9.5 per game in February. He’s only eight behind the rookie record and, with the tanking Bulls on the other side, he might just get them all on Tuesday.

Kris Middleton – Over 14.5 Points (-103)

With Cooper Flagg out of the lineup yet again, the question then becomes of who the Mavericks turn to for scoring. Don’t be surprised if it’s Middleton. In the last two games without the Rookie of the Year favorite, Middleton has easily cleared this mark. Not only that, but he’s getting plenty of burn (30 minutes per game) and shot attempts (13.3 per game) in those contests. With the usage as high as it is, it’s hard to imagine a big drop off – especially against Brooklyn.

Moses Moody – Over 3.5 Three-Pointers (+123)

With Steph Curry out of the lineup again, you might expect the Warriors to be a little less heavy handed on the attempts from beyond the arc. In fact, their three-point attempts have gone up without him in the lineup. After posting 45.4 per game over the season, they have soared to 51.3 per game in their last three – which included 52 attempts Sunday against the Nuggets. Moody has been a big part of that, going 4-for-9 on Sunday. They’ll face a New Orleans team that ranks 29th in the league in makes from three, which should spell another big game here.
