#2 Houston Cougars vs #8 Kansas Jayhawks

There aren’t too many games on the college hoops slate tomorrow, but we do get this dandy, as the #8-ranked Kansas Jayhawks host the second-ranked Houston Cougars at Allen Fieldhouse for some Big 12 action. The Cougars are in second place in the conference with an 11-3 record, with the Jayhawks tied for third at 10-4.
I’m going with the home side, Kansas, to prevail in the only regular-season matchup between these two teams. The Jayhawks have been a little shaky lately, dropping two of three, but conveniently for them, they are catching Houston slumping as well, as they’ve lost back-to-back games.
If this game were being played at a neutral site, Houston would be my pick. But it’s not, and the home court advantage is going to make the difference. My line is Kansas -1.5, so the Jayhawks plus the points is the move.
