I’m moving from the collegiate hardwood (which has been very lucrative) to the UFC cage (where I’m supposedly an “expert”) tomorrow for my best bet, as the promotion is in Houston for UFC Fight Night: Strickland vs Hernandez. For my best bet for Saturday, February 21st: UFC Predictions, I’ve got a winner for a flyweight fight from the prelims. Let’s get this money!

The flyweight bout in question is between American Ode’ Osbourne and Kazakhstan’s Alibi Idiris. ‘The Jamaican Sensation’ Osbourne is well past his prime – I’m surprised the UFC has kept him around at this point – losing four of his last five fights. At the same time, Idiris is on the way up still, despite losing his last, and only, UFC bout, which was the finals of The Ultimate Fighter season that Idiris appeared on.
Idiris should outclass Osbourne on the feet with his slick striking, as well as on the ground with his wrestling and grappling. And we’re getting him for a very nice price on the moneyline. Look for Alibi Idiris to chalk up his first official UFC victory tomorrow night in Houston.
