MMA Same Game Parlay of the Week: UFC Houston
UFC Houston Featherweight Fight: Dan Ige vs Melquizael Costa
Start Time: 5:00pm EST (Paramount+)
On the UFC Houston main card, we have a pair of fighters who like to throw down. Despite an expectation that a large portion of this fight take place on the feet, the significant strike numbers listed are quite low. By combining a pair of them, we can get some really juicy odds.
On the side of Dan Ige, he’s gone four straight fights landing at least 42 strikes. That includes three that have gone that distance and one that ended in the third round. The fight is currently listed at -250 to end by decision, which should give him ample time to keep those strike numbers up where we need them.
On the other side of things, Costa comes in on a five-fight win streak. In those five fights, he’s only managed to come in over 50 strikes twice. While that might be a concern, the other side is that he finished the three fights that went under, and was a perfect 2-0 against that mark in decisions. Nobody has stopped Dan Ige in 29 professional fights, which should allow Costa time to work his way back up to 50.
Although those are some modest numbers, it still gets us great value on the board.
