The NFL Smalls Awards: Because Someone Had to Say It

MYBOOKIE BONUS

Every NFL season ends the same way: one team wins, most teams spiral emotionally, and the internet pretends it knew everything all along. That’s why Colby Marchio and I wrapped the season the only responsible way—by handing out the NFL Smalls Awards, the real awards that honor chaos, disappointment, and extremely personal betting grudges.

We covered it all. The Highlight Merchant Award went to players who somehow get more camera time than production. The Fantasy Football Terrorist award was for the guys who ruined Sundays, parlays, and friendships. The No Bet List grew longer (and more aggressive). And yes, we once again crowned a Papa Bear, because watching a veteran quietly kick ass is still one of life’s pure joys.

We also had to talk about the big stuff. Fanbases convincing themselves “next year is our year.” Teams with elite quarterbacks who somehow still feel… stuck. Bills. Ravens. Bengals. I asked the uncomfortable question: at what point do we stop blaming everything else?

There were rants. There were laughs. There were moments where I absolutely worked myself up for no reason. But that’s football. That’s betting. And that’s the NFL Smalls Awards.

These are the only awards that matter—because they’re honest, unhinged, and emotionally accurate.
