The UFC has done it to us again. They’ve abandoned us again this week, leaving us with no UFC on Saturday night. It’s a quiet week all around the MMA world, but luckily, one of Europe’s biggest MMA promotions is bringing the action on Saturday. For my MMA Underdog Pick of the Week: OKTAGON 84, I’ve got a live dog from Saturday’s prelims. Let’s get it on, c’mon!

MMA Underdog Pick of the Week: OKTAGON 84
OKTAGON 84: Paradeiser vs Brito
Start Time: Noon EST (OKTAGON.TV)
We’re headed to Ostrava, Czech Republic, for OKTAGON 84, but I’m going with a Polish fighter to upset a Czech one on the prelims. That fighter would be Brajan Przysiwek, who I’m picking to beat the favorite, Vašek Klimša, in a middleweight fight.
Przysiwek is what we like to call a “short king” – he’s 5’7″, 185 pounds, so he’s always at a height and length disadvantage at middleweight. However, he’s never at a physical strength deficit, and he should be able to overpower and outstrike his less experienced foe, Klimša (2-0 as a pro compared to Przysiwek’s 4-1 record), this weekend.
