The UFC has done it to us again. They’ve abandoned us again this week, leaving us with no UFC on Saturday night. It’s a quiet week all around the MMA world, but luckily, one of Europe’s biggest MMA promotions is bringing the action on Saturday. For my MMA Main Card Pick of the Week: OKTAGON 84, I’ve got the winner for the championship main event. Let’s go!

MMA Main Card Pick of the Week: OKTAGON 84
OKTAGON 84: Paradeiser vs Brito
Main Card Start Time: Noon EST (OKTAGON.TV)
Czech promotion OKTAGON hits the Ostravar Arena in Ostrava, Czech Republic, for an injury-riddled OKTAGON 84 fight card. Despite fight cancellations, we still get gold on the line in the main event, with the vacant welterweight title up for grabs.
And we have two former OKTAGON champions going against each other for it: former lightweight champion Ronald Paradeiser of the Slovak Republic and former welterweight champion Kaik Brito of Brazil.
Paradeiser is my pick, as I think he’ll use his expert footwork and high-paced striking attack to best Brito and get himself an OKTAGON belt around his waist once more.
