New York Knicks vs Detroit Pistons
Start Time – 7:30 PM EST
The premier matchup of the night sees the New York Knicks head to the Motor City to face the Detroit Pistons. The visitors could be without Karl-Anthony Towns and Josh Hart, among others, while the home side may be missing Jalen Duren and Tobias Harris. That’s the modern NBA for you.
The Knicks are a poor road team (11-12), which might come back to bite them come playoff time. My line for this matchup of the East’s best is Detroit -2, so the Pistons are the play.

Indiana Pacers vs Milwaukee Bucks
Start Time – 8:00 PM EST
Ugh, Friday’s slate of NBA games is impossible to get a grip on due to injuries, trades, and tight spreads. But I’ll make a play on this miserable matchup between the Indiana Pacers and the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Pacers surprised the basketball world (or at least me) by trading for Ivica Zubac, but he won’t be in action in Milwaukee tomorrow. My line is Milwaukee -1.5, so I guess I’ll take the Bucks as a home dog.
