Northeastern at Hofstra

Start Time: 7:00 PM EST

Northeastern enters this game with a 6-15 overall record and a 3-9 road mark. The Huskies are 9-12 overall ATS and 6-6 ATS on the road.

Hofstra comes into this matchup with a 14-9 overall record and a 5-2 mark at home. The Pride are 13-8 overall ATS and 2-3 ATS at home.

These two teams split last year’s series, with each team winning on the other’s floor. However, Hofstra has won six of the last 10 outright, and it’s dead even ATS.

Northeastern is currently on a four-game losing streak, and they’ve failed to cover all four games. Hofstra just ended a five-game losing streak with a win at Monmouth. Their recent win was their first cover in almost three weeks.

Northeastern has a rough record, but it has the better offense in this matchup. The Huskies are 90th in effective field goal percentage and 112th in shooting efficiency in the nation. Hofstra is a tough watch on the offensive end. The Pride can shoot from range, but struggles to get buckets on the inside. Northeastern also plays at pace, and that messes with the slower approach that Hofstra prefers to play at. The Huskies are also capable of getting into passing lanes and turning over the opposition. Northeastern is 93rd in the nation in steals per game.

Let’s lock up Northeastern catching the big number. The Huskies can score, and they can do enough on defense to stay within the number.

Best Bet: Northeastern +10.5

Eastern Washington at Montana

Start Time: 9:00 PM EST

Eastern Washington comes into this game with a 5-17 overall record and a 1-13 mark on the road. The Eagles are 10-11 overall ATS and 8-6 ATS on the road.

Montana enters this matchup with a 13-10 overall record and an 8-4 mark at home. The Grizzlies are 11-8 overall ATS and 5-3 ATS at home.

These two teams met in January at Eastern Washington. The Eagles won by one, but Montana covered as a 1.5-point underdog. EWU has lost five of its last six road games. Montana has won and covered in four straight home games.

The handicap for this one is simple. Eastern Washington has been a horror show on the road, and this is a revenge spot from last month’s loss on the road for Montana.

Montana is remarkably efficient on offense, and Eastern Washington is awful on defense. The line is a little short, but that’s likely because Eastern Washington clipped Montana last month. The Grizzlies should win this game by double-digits. Let’s lock Montana to win and cover the six points.

Best Bet: Montana -6

Northern Colorado at Weber State

Start Time: 9:00 PM EST

Northern Colorado enters this game with a 13-10 overall record and a 5-6 road mark. The Bears are 9-11 overall ATS and 6-5 ATS on the road.

Weber State comes into this matchup with an 11-12 overall record and an 8-4 mark at home. The Wildcats are 11-10 overall ATS and 5-5 ATS at home.

Weber State just clipped Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO, in January as a 6.5-point underdog. Before January, Northern Colorado had won three games in a row outright, including a game at Weber State last year.

The Bears have won back-to-back games at home, while Weber State has dropped four of its last five. This is also a revenge spot for Northern Colorado.

Both teams like to get up and down the floor, and neither plays much defense. Northern Colorado is better at scoring inside, while Weber State is better at shooting from range. The Bears have a clear advantage in free-throw shooting and rebounding.

Let’s ride with the Bears to get revenge on Weber State and steal one on the road. Lock up Northern Colorado to win this one outright as a very short dog. There’s a non-zero chance this line will flip. It’s playable up to Northern Colorado laying 2.5 points.

Best Bet: Northern Colorado +0.5
