Daily NBA Player Props – February 2nd
Ace Bailey – Over 4.5 Rebounds (+122)
Bailey got uncharacteristically busy on the board last time out. Despite averaging less than a handful of rebounds a game, he exploded for 11 boards. Now the projection is back down to 4.5 just one game later, and that game will not feature Jusuf Nurkic, who is out win an injury. In addition to that, the Pacers rank 29th in rabounding percentage, which should open more chances for the rookie.
Jaylen Brown – Over 7.5 Rebounds (+105)
Jaylen Brown has more than just one good game in his back pocket – like Bailey. He’s coming off a game where he waxed the glass for 13 boards and doubled the projection that was out on him. However, that made it six of his last seven games in which he has had eight or more rebounds. The Mavericks area below average team on the boards, which only leads me to believe that Brown will keep the trend going.
Desmond Bane – Over 2.5 Three-Pointers (+152)
Bane is coming off an ugly game where he saw almost no volume and even less success. He made just one of two attempts against San Antonio and that’s why we’re seeing the line where it is right now. However, if we peel it back further, he had been 3-0 against this line in the three games prior. Not only that, but he had averaged 4.3 three-pointers made in that span. The Magic face the Thunder on Tuesday. While they have a tough defense, they are 25th in terms of allowing three-point attempts. That means we should see an increase in the volume from Bane – and that should help this hit the over.
