Columbus Blue Jackets vs New Jersey Devils
Start Time: 7:00 PM EST
Normally, for my daily best bets I find the shortest favorite I can find on the moneyline and make that the winning play. However, for tomorrow I’m switching things up and going with a live dog.
I would have been picking the Columbus Blue Jackets to beat the New Jersey Devils on the road tomorrow night even if they were a favorite, so getting them for plus money is an added bonus.
While the Blue Jackets are only three points ahead of the Devils in the standings, advanced stats favor the team from Columbus to a greater degree, rating them almost half a goal per game better than the Devils. Plus, New Jersey is sitting near the bottom of the league in home record, only going 13-10-2 on their home ice thus far.
I like the Blue Jackets and their much more potent offense to grab a road win tomorrow night.
