New York Islanders vs Washington Capitals

We’re hitting up the nation’s capital tomorrow for some NHL Metropolitan Division action, as the fifth-place Washington Capitals host the third-place New York Islanders. Despite their respective places in the standings, it’s the Capitals who have had the upper hand on the Islanders this season, winning two out of three matchups with them, including both games in Long Island.
I think tomorrow will be when the Caps finally get a win over the Isles in front of their home fans in the Capital One Arena. After a mid-January swoon, Washington has righted the ship, winning their last two games and three of their past five. While not spectacular in any area, the Capitals are slightly above average in offense and defense with no real weaknesses.
The Islanders, meanwhile, have an anemic offense and a strong defense. I think the Caps get the better of them tomorrow.
