The early game of the day takes place in North Carolina, as the Carolina Hurricanes host the Los Angeles Kings. And the Canes are the team with a hot scorer on it.
That player would be Andrei Svechnikov, who has eight goals over his past 10 games. As of this writing, he’s scored in back-to-back games and five of his last six. Strike while the iron is hot.
Vegas Golden Knights vs Anaheim Ducks
Start Time: 9:30 PM EST
Vegas Golden Knights winger Pavel Dorofeyev is just as hot as Svechnikov, also with eight goals in his last 10 games. After breaking out for 35 goals last season, Dorofeyev is already at 24 in only 53 games this year, which puts him on pace to top his career high.
As a bonus, Dorofeyev is playing against one of the leakiest defenses in the league tomorrow, the Anaheim Ducks, who have allowed the second-most goals in the NHL this year.
