Daily NBA Player Props – January 29th
Nikola Vucevic – Over 30.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-120)
With a relatively short squad around her, Vucevic has been carrying the heavy load on the boards. He’s averaging 9.6 boards on the month and has been over double figures in 42.9% of all games in that span. On top of that, his scoring seems to have come back up in the last couple of games. Now he gets a Heat team that is not only below average in rebounding, but are also ranked 24th in points allowed. As a result, Vucevic should clear this number without needing any assists.
Royce O’Neale – Under 2.5 Three-Pointers (-140)
Royce O’Neale is on a historically bad run in terms of shooting from three-point. In the last two games, he is 0-for-12 and doesn’t appear to be close to hitting any. While he had an exceptional run at the beginning of the month, you have to imagine Phoenix is going to reduce the amount of shots he gets here. Additionally, Detroit ranks in the top ten in terms of limiting three-pointers. They’ve allowed just 10.0 per game over the last three games, which should make this even easier to cash.
Brandon Miller – Over 20.5 Points (-111)
If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it. Miller passed this number during the middle of the third quarter on Wednesday, which gave him his seventh over in eight games. He’s been hitting better from deep and getting to the line more – both of which have been paying off. He gets Dallas here, who just so happens to be in the bottom third of the league in team defense. As a result, I’m looking for the trend to continue.
