Best Bet For Thursday (January 29th): NHL Predictions
Florida Panthers vs St. Louis Blues
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
The St. Louis Blues are having themselves a season – but not of the good variety. Entering the year with a projected points total of 92.5, the Blues have only managed 47 points in 53 games, well below expectations. They have scored the fewest goals in the league and have let in the fourth most. Not a recipe for success.
Things certainly haven’t picked up lately for the Blues, as they’ve dropped five straight games and eight of their past 10, coinciding with their leading scorer, Robert Thomas, being sidelined (Thomas remains out of action).
The defending back-to-back Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers aren’t quite having the season they’d hoped for, but there are levels to this, and the Panthers and the Blues are not on the same plane, even with St. Louis having home ice advantage tomorrow.
The Panthers on the moneyline is my best bet for Thursday.
