Delaware State is on a five-game losing streak that has seen them drop games at Rutgers and Howard. South Carolina State is off a six-point win at home over Mid-Atlantic Christian. They did win at home against Howard on January 3rd.
Delaware State is one of the worst offensive teams in the nation. South Carolina State isn’t much better, but they’re capable of scoring slightly more often, and the Bulldogs are the better shooting team. Delaware State is the worst team in the nation when it comes to shooting percentage on two-point shots. They’re not much better from deep range. Let’s roll with South Carolina State to win and cover the short spread at home against a Delaware State team that really struggles to score.

This is one of the games that we’ve had circled for a potential Arizona loss. The Wildcats are a national title contender, but it’s really rare to see a team run the table all the way through April. Every basketball team hits a spot where they stumble. Provo, UT, will be beyond lit for this matchup, and BYU is one of the few rosters that can stand toe-to-toe with the length, athleticism, and ability that the Wildcats bring. BYU has toughness on the inside and athletes that can match the Wildcats.
It’s hard to find metrics that will support a BYU win, but they’re not far off, and this will be a legitimately hostile environment. BYU doesn’t often catch points at home, so let’s lock up the Cougars to keep this one close and potentially steal the upset.
