Utah Mammoth vs Tampa Bay Lightning
Start Time: 7:00 PM EST
Anyone waiting for the perenial powerhouse Tampa Bay Lightning to finally take a step back, you’ll have to wait at least another year. With 68 points in 50 games, the Lightning are on pace for 111, their most since 2018/19. And the advanced stats rank them as the top team in the NHL’s Eastern Conference.
For a relatively new franchise, the Utah Mammoth are having a great season, and they are hot, winning five straight games and eight of their last nine. But they haven’t beaten the Lightning, losing their previous encounter this season 4-2. And they’re a below average team on enemy ice.
After crunching the numbers, I have the Lighning more than a half a goal better than the Mammoth tomorrow night, so I’m going with Tampa Bay on the moneyline as my best bet for Monday.
