The Houston Rockets were one of the teams that betrayed me on Sunday, failing to cover the spread against the lowly New Orleans Pelicans. Do I dare give them a second chance?
I do. Because my numbers tell me to, and in the long run, if I follow my numbers, I end up winning money. It helps that this game is being played in the Toyota Center, as the Rockets are 14-3 there, the second-best home mark in the league. My line is Houston -5, so go Rockets.

Toronto Raptors vs Golden State Warriors
Start Time – 10:00 PM EST
The Toronto Raptors’ surprisingly strong season continues, even with an injury list always stocked full of rotation players. That will be the case tomorrow, as well, as they head to The Bay to face the Golden State Warriors.
The Raps are strong on the road, posting a 12-9 record south of the border. My line for this matchup is Golden State -4, so while I don’t predict the Raptors to win, I do predict that they’ll cover the spread.
