Daily NBA Player Props – January 19th
Ivica Zubac – Under 31.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-120)
Zubac is fresh off a game where he cleared this number by 0.5. However, it’s worth noting that the game went into overtime, which saw Zubac pull down three more rebounds and get one of his two assists. It we take that game away, he has four straight games coming in under this number and he’s beat it in just one of ten overall. While the Wizards are one of the worst rebounding teams in the league, he’s faced others that are similar in that span. The Nets rank in the same realm and held him to a 5-6-4 stat line.
Kyle Filipowski – Under 8.5 Rebounds (-130)
Here’s another guy who cleared this projection – seemingly with ease – last time out. He cruised to 12 boards against the Mavericks on Saturday. However, the Mavericks are in the bottom third of the league when it comes to rebounding percentage. Instead, Filipowski will get a top five team in Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs. Combine that with the fact that he’s 2-11 to the over on this line in his last 13, and it should be another under for him here.
Jaylen Brown – Over 6.5 Rebounds (+117)
While I know that the Pistons are a solid rebounding team, Brown has been a big part of the Celtics’ game on the boards lately. He had just six against the Hawks, but had hit the over in each of the five games prior to that. If you want to stretch it out just a bit further, he has hit the over in seven of his last nine. This should be a close one, which means he won’t be ceding garbage time minutes to the bench.
