New York Islanders vs Vancouver Canucks

The Vancouver Canucks are the worst team in hockey, and it’s not even close. The lowest point total in the NHL. The worst-ranked team based on advanced stats. The most goals allowed in the league. The third fewest goals scored. And with a 4-13-3 record in front of their home fans, they have the worst home record in the league, also. This is quite the fall for a team predicted for 90.5 points heading into this season.
Although they’ll be missing their leading scorer, Bo Horvat, the visiting New York Islanders are going to win tomorrow in Vancouver. With 57 points in 48 games, the Islanders are exceeding expectations, riding the third-best defense in the league to victories. Plus, with a 12-9-3 road mark, the Islanders are an above-average road team as well.
Despite all of this, we’re getting New York at a very playable moneyline number, making the Islanders my best bet for Monday.
