The Houston Rockets have come back down to earth a bit recently (pun not intended), with only two wins in their last five games. But no worries – the perfect antidote is coming to town tomrorow night – the New Orleans Pelicans.
The Pels are 3-16 on the road this year, among the worst marks in the NBA (the fact that it isn’t the worst road record shows how truly awful some teams are). My line for tomorrow is Houston -15.5, so let’s go with the Rockets to cover.
Best Bet: Houston -12.5 (-110)
Toronto Raptors vs Los Angeles Lakers
Start Time – 9:30 PM EST
You know I’m not going to pass up an opportunity to fade the overrated Los Angeles Lakers, especially if they’ll be without Luka Doncic tomorrow night when they face the Toronto Raptors (Doncic’s status is still unknown, but he sat out Saturday’s action).
The Lakers are good at home, but the Raptors are even better on the road. My line is Toronto -0.5, so even if Doncic plays, I’m going with the Raptors plus the points.
