NFL Week 17 Defensive Player Props - If you're looking to get in on some defensive prop bets or IDP Fantasy Football, look no further.

Austin Booker helped us cash big on a +270 sack prop last week – although he almost didn’t thanks to some roughing the passer calls. Now we’re looking to repeat the success. We dug through all the defensive data from this season so that you don’t need to. With it, we came up with a slew of NFL Week 17 defensive player props.  We’ve got sack props, tackle props, and turnover props. There’s value on all of these gems, so don’t be afraid – come tail along with all the action.

NFL Week 17 Defensive Player Props – Best Bets

Our Favorite Sack Props

Myles Garrett – CLE (-188)

This is way more chalky than we usually like to pay on sack props, but this one seems like a given. Myles Garrett is just half a sack away from a tie of the NFL single season record – which means a full sack would break it. Aaron Rodgers is not exactly the most mobile of quarterbacks. He’s been sacked five times in the last two weeks and I have to imagine Garrett is about to add to that total.

K’Lavon Chaisson – NE (+116)

The Patriots have not been great at getting into the backfield lately, but they have an easy assignment to get on the right foot heading into the playoffs. The Jets seem to have a pass coverage issue and new quarterback Brady Cook doesn’t seem to understand how much time he has left. He’s been sacked 17 times in three games so far, and if anyone is going to get one from New England, it’s Chaisson. He’s been blowing up the backfield for the last couple weeks and has 6.5 sacks on the year.

Our Favorite Tackle Props

Zack Braun – PHI – Over 8.5 Tackles and Assists (+110)

Braun is leading the Eagles in total tackles on the year with 117. He’s put up eight or more in four of his last five games and there is plenty of reason to buy now on his tackles. The Bills are one of just two teams in the league who are running more run plays than pass plays. Plus, Josh Allen is banged up and likely is going to need to take it easy. As a result, look for even more run plays, which should lead to more opportunities for Braun and his fellow linebackers.

Edgerrin Cooper – GB – Over 6.5 Tackles and Assists (-120)

Cooper is another linebacker with a lot of success and a great opportunity here. Much like Braun, he’s either facing a beat up quarterback in Lamar Jackson or a backup. Additionally, the Ravens are the other of the teams that runs more than they pass. That means we should see plenty of action in the box for Cooper and gang. He’s already 3-1 against this line in the last four weeks, and I imagine this is another easy over.

Our Favorite Interception Props

Tykee Smith – TB (+500)

If you’re looking through interception props, you have to take someone from the Buccaneers. Quinn Ewers is under center again for the Dolphins and they are going to be trailing the whole game. With that, expect plenty of pass attempts from the rookie – who just so happened to get picked twice last game. Tykee Smith leads the team in deflected passes even if he doesn’t have a lot of picks. I like his to rectify that in this one.

Tremaine Edmunds – CHI (+1100)

After coming off IR, Tremaine Edmunds did rely factor much into the Bears Week 16 win. However, given another week to practice, I expect him to be back closer to his pre-injury form. Additionally, he gets a quarterback in Brock Purdy, who has been intercepted four times in the last four games. Look for Edmunds to keep that trend going in primetime.
