The UFC may have put a bow on their 2025 and have closed up shop for the next month, but that doesn’t mean the MMA world has gone completely dark. OKTAGON 81: Fleury vs Buday
Start Time: Noon EST Sunday (OKTAGON TV)
I’m doubling down on my underdog play this week for my prop pick, not because I’m lazy or uncreative (that’s just a convenient coincidence), but because I believe it’s going to cash.
That bet would be for OKTAGON Heavyweight Champion Will Fleury to retain his title on Sunday against challenger Martin Buday via decision. This, as I mentioned above, is a counterintuitive play for a heavyweight fight normally. However, the Irish champ is not a finisher, with only seven of his 15 wins coming inside the distance.
