NFL Week 15 Defensive Player Props – Best Bets

Our Favorite Sack Props

DeMarcus Lawrence – SEA (+171)

The Colts have a huge question mark under center. Whatever the answer might be, it won’t be good for them. They’ll either turn to 44-year old grandfather Phillip Rivers or Riley Leonard, who didn’t look stellar last week. Neither are particularly mobile and they just happen to be facing the team 4th in the league in sacks. They have 41 in 13 games this year, and Lawrence has come on as one of the sack threats lately.

Al-Quadin Muhammad – DET (+210)

While Matthew Stafford has been fairly mobile on the year, the sacks have started to pile up lately for him. He’s been sacked four times in the last five games, and teams not nearly as good at the pass rush as Detroit is. Detroit is another top five team in picking up sacks. Muhammad took down Dak Prescott three times last week, and I like him to keep that momentum rolling.

Our Favorite Tackle Props

Alex Singleton – DEN – Over 7.5 Tackles and Assists (-119)

Singleton leads Denver in tackles on the year with 103 total. However, those numbers have ticked up lately. He’s had 44 in his last five games, or 8.8 per game. He’s also been over this mark in five of his last six games. To make matters even better for his tackle prop, he gets the Packers here. No team runs the ball at a higher clip than the Packers, which means that we should see more opporunities for linebackers to pick up tackles.

Kyle Hamilton – BAL – Over 6.5 Tackles and Assists (+107)

Hamilton may have only picked up three tackles last week, but had racked up 26 in the three weeks prior. I like him to get back on track with those tackles against Joe Burrow and the Bengals. Cincinatti is already first in the league in terms of pass plays, which should open up tackle opportunities for defensive backs. Some of those games were without Burrow as well. Now that he’s back, the trajectory for that should continue upward.

Our Favorite Interception Props

Donte JAckson – LAC (+550)

In the last four games, Jackson has found an interception in three of them. While that still only makes four on the season, there isn’t a defensive back hotter than he is right now. To make matters easier for him, he heads to Kansas City on Sunday. No quarterback in the league has thrown more picks over his last four games than Patrick Mahomes – who has launched five into the hands of his opponents. Good chance that Jackson gets another to keep his hot streak alive.

Kevin Byard III – CHI (+650)

We’ve got Shadeur Sanders going head-to-head with the defense that has forced the most interceptions of any team this year. The Bears have picked 18 passes off in just 13 games, which is three more than any other team. One of the hottest defensive backs lately has been Kevin Byard III. He has two picks in his last four games. Ball hawking from the safety position should lend him plenty of chances to steal one from Sanders.
