Newark and Winnipeg – two hot spots to visit in December, right?! The New Jersey Devils happen to be hosting the Tampa Bay Lightning tomorrow night, so we have no choice but to hit up Newark for half of our goal-scoring parlay.
That’s because the Lightning’s Brandon Hagel continues to be the (tied for) hottest player in the league. The winger has 10 goals over his last 10 games, bringing his season total up to 17.
Boston Bruins vs Winnipeg Jets

Hagel would be alone atop the hottest player in the league standings if it weren’t for the Boston Bruins’ Morgan Geekie, who continues to have a career year (after having a career year last season as well).
Geekie’s 10 goals in his last 10 have bumped his total to 22 in 31 games on the year, only 11 behind the total he scored in 77 games last season.
