Atlanta Falcons vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Start Time: 8:15 PM EST
The NFC South will be on display tomorrow night on Thursday Night Football, with the first-place (7-6) Tampa Bay Buccaneers hosting the fourth-place (4-9) Atlanta Falcons. Not exactly the most intriguing of matchups.
The Bucs have almost locked up a playoff berth, while the Falcons have nothing left to play for. Expect to perhaps screw with Tampa Bay, and my best bet, on Thursday. But Tampa Bay shouldn’t even be in this position, having started the season 6-2.
Perennial Pro Bowl wide receiver Mike Evans will be back in action tomorrow for the first time in two months, which should bolster the home team’s offense. And the Buccaneers were already way better than the Falcons on offense even without him.
My line is Tampa Bay -7, so I’m taking the Buccaneers to cover the spread as my best bet for Thursday.
