I went from not even being sure I was going to choose Marcus Buchecha to win his heavyweight main card fight against Kennedy Nzechukwu on Saturday, to not only choosing him to win, but picking him for my prop bet. Sometimes these things happen in MMA.
That’s because there is a clear path to victory for the 29-time Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu world champion Buchecha. Nzechukwu had one job in his last fight – don’t get taken down and submitted by Valter Walker – and he failed it in less than a minute. Buchecha can very easily do the same this weekend.
