Dallas Stars vs Winnipeg Jets
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
Two Western Conference teams headed in opposite directions clash tomorrow night in the tundra of Winnipeg as the Jets host the Dallas Stars. The Jets are the team in free fall, corresponding with their goaltender, the NHL’s reigning MVP, Connor Hellebuyck, being added to the injury list last month. Since losing their #1 netminder, Winnipeg has only won three of 10 games.
The Stars, meanwhile, are headed in the opposite direction, winning three straight and six of seven. At 20-5-5, they are one of the best teams in the league, boasting the fourth-best offense and the sixth-best defense. Plus, they are somehow 10-1-4 on the road this season, even better than their 10-4-1 mark on their home ice at the American Airlines Center.
It doesn’t matter that this game is being played in Winnipeg – Dallas is the superior team, so the Stars on the moneyline is my best bet for Tuesday. And a very nice moneyline at that.
