Matt Dewoskin ATS College Basketball Picks Record (Est 11/3/2025)

All ATS Selections: 57-40-2
Perfect 3-0 Cards: 5-27

Boise State at Butler

Start Time: 2:00 PM EST

Boise State enters this game with a 5-3 overall record and a 3-3 ATS record. This is the Broncos’ first true road game.

Butler comes into this matchup with a 7-1 overall record and a 7-1 ATS record. The Bulldogs are 5-0 at home and 4-1 ATS at home.

Butler went 2-0 at the Greenbrier Tip-Off and has won back-to-back games at home against Wright State and Eastern Michigan. The Bulldogs struggled out of the gate last year, but have clearly made an effort to get off to a faster start this season. Their offense has been clicking, and their team defense concepts have been working.

In addition to traveling to a hostile environment for the first time, this is also Boise State’s first game since the Maui Invitational. The Broncos went 1-2 in Maui with a win over Chaminade and losses to NC State and USC.

Boise has played two true power teams with better rosters than they have, and they lost both games. Butler also has an objectively better roster, and the Bulldogs get Boise State in Hinkle Fieldhouse in the Broncos’ first real road game. This Boise State team is still trying to figure out how to win as a team. The Broncos are solid on the defensive end, but are prone to scoring droughts. Butler has a top-50 offense in the country and gets a familiar floor. Butler rolls here. Let’s lock up the Bulldogs.

Best Bet: Butler -4.5

Western Michigan at SIU-Edwardsville

Start Time: 2:00 PM EST

Western Michigan comes into this matchup with a 4-5 overall record and a 4-3-1 record ATS. The Broncos are 0-4 on the road and 0-3-1 ATS on the road.

SIU-Edwardsville enters this game with a 6-3 overall record and 2-1 record at home. The Cougars are 5-2 ATS but 0-1 ATS at home.

Western Michigan has lost by five points or more in every road game it’s played. Their most recent effort was a 29-point loss in Valparaiso. The Broncos also have a home loss to a DII program on their resume this year. Western Michigan is in the bottom half of the MAC this year.

SIU-Edwardsville has built itself into a solid low-major program that can compete against mid-majors. The Cougars come into this game on a three-game winning streak. They’ve gotten past North Florida, Missouri Baptist, and Alabama State with relative ease. Their only losses have been on the road at Wisconsin and Air Force and at home against Indiana State. Drake came into Edwardsville earlier this year and lost outright.

SIUE’s defense will frustrate and annoy a really mediocre Broncos offense, while the Cougars can do just enough on the offensive end to cover the number. Their defense will take the ball away from the Broncos and lead to transition points. Let’s take SIUE to win and cover the number.

Best Bet: SIU-Edwardsville -6.5

Colorado at Colorado State

Start Time: 5:00 PM EST

Colorado comes into this game with an 8-0 overall record and a 5-3 record ATS. This is the first true road game for the Buffaloes.

Colorado State enters this matchup with a 6-2 overall record and a 6-2 record ATS. The Rams are 3-1 at home and 2-2 ATS at home so far this year.

Colorado State is just off the Battle 4 Atlantis MTE in which they went 2-1. The Rams picked up wins against Wichita State and South Florida, but got clipped by Virginia Tech.

Colorado has looked awesome this year and has started the season with eight straight wins. They went 2-0 in the Acrisure Holiday Classic. The Buffs also just beat non-conference darling Cal Baptist in Boulder, CO. However, this is their first trip to a hostile environment, and they get an in-state battle against a team that will have fans in their building for this matchup.

When it comes to a comparison, Colorado State is better on the offensive end, while Colorado has a bit more length and athleticism on the defensive end. Colorado State will look to pressure the Buffs’ backcourt, force Colorado to play a little slower, and let CSU’s bigs clean the glass. They’ll also need the crowd to add a bit of pressure as well. This game will likely be a one- or two-possession game, but Colorado State should give Colorado its first loss and cover the number.

Colorado State -2.5
