If Week 13 taught us anything, it’s that the NFL is officially a chaos engine designed to make all of us feel insane—and yes, I’m somehow thriving. On this week’s episode of The Stephie Smalls Show, I sat down with the incomparable CJ Sullivan, host of Bottom Line Bombs, to break down the Weekend Dads & Duds from a slate that left me screaming into my scarf like a Victorian widow. Between the Chicago Bears’ run game bulldozing the Philadelphia Eagles, Joe Burrow reminding the Baltimore Ravens that he is in fact still Joe Burrow, and the Detroit Lions continuing their “are we good or are we frauds?” identity crisis, my emotional stability was… questionable.
CJ and I dove into the Bryce Young and Panthers upset over the Rams, the surprise big-man touchdown from Tristan Wirfs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and of course, the ongoing disaster at quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings. And don’t get me started on the Eagles—if Nick Sirianni has a plan, I’d like to borrow it and return it shredded.
Then we jumped ahead to the NFL Week 14 betting lines, hitting early reads on Texans–Chiefs, Seahawks–Falcons, Browns–Titans, Bears–Packers, Commanders–Vikings, and a Monday night showdown between the Eagles and Chargers. I even tossed out a few props, including Jaxson Dart and Theo Johnson, because I cannot be stopped.
If you love NFL betting, player props, fantasy football insights, and unnecessarily strong opinions, you’ll want to catch this episode. And yes, CJ does plug his show—I let him. I’m generous like that.
